Mauer Broadcast, Publication Design, 2019
Typographic design of the choral score used by singers participating in Sheryl Oring’s and Lisa Bielawa’s (Berliner) Mauer Broadcast — performed open air during Berlin Festival Week, Nov 4–10, 2019, at Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Marx-Engels Forum. The program commemorated the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall and shared the stories of those whose lives were changed by the presence of the Wall. I mapped the historical location of the Berlin Wall throughout Berlin, and worked with those data lines to shape the visual treatment of the text.
