Caution Play, 2005 (single channel video installation, 2:34)
This video is projected onto the shade of small narrow window inside the gallery. The boys play with a gun and mimic gestures of violence. The yellow and black that the main boy wears is a visual sign for caution. Graphics are contrasted with live action, the video reflects on innocent play and the aesthetic representation of violence. The video screened as part of the Not For Sale exhibition at the Fine Arts Gallery at VCUarts. Watch the video.
