As a Board Member for DesignInquiry (DI), I helped to frame and promote DI’s three-month residency at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit‘s Department of Education and Public Engagement (DEPE Space). The residency exhibition (October–December 2014) was led by Benjamin Van Dyke, with Emily Luce, Rachele Riley, and Joshua Singer.
The Evolution of Silence, Version 1 was included in the SIGGRAPH 2014 Art Gallery Exhibition, ‘Acting in Translation’ (curated by Basak Senova), in Vancouver, Canada in August 2014, curated by Basak Senova. (more…)
Exhibition catalog design for ‘Design Does,’ The University of the Arts, 2010 End-of-Year Design Exhibition, 2011.
Charged with translating the unique experience of the 2010 design installation at the Crane Arts Center in Philadelphia, the exhibition catalog features individual layouts, drawings, and diagrams in order to document the exhibition’s physical juxtaposition of student works from Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Multimedia, and Museum and Exhibition Planning and Design departments. Co-coordinator and Design Director for Graphics and Wayfinding for ‘Active Territory,’ 2011 End-of-Year Design Exhibition, The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA.
The exhibition explores design as a practice for reenergizing and repurposing material, space, and message. The word territory denotes an area of knowledge or activity, and when activated, becomes energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic, operating and live. Active Territory was installed in at the Gallery Mall on Market Street in downtown Philadelphia.(more…)
